The Music Service teaches kit and percussion, as well as keyboard and piano lessons in secondary schools. If you are interested in learning one of these instruments please contact the music co-ordinator of your school in the first instance, and then an apointment will be made to see the instrumental teacher.
Drum kits can be found in bands and a variety of groups, laying the foundation of the rhythm as well as giving a strong lead. The keyboards/pianoforte are found in many diverse groups as well as being a solo instrument in its own right. Keyboard prices have plummeted over the years and have led to a wider exposure in schools.
