The Hillingdon Jazz Orchestra (HJO) is a community big band run by the Hillingdon Music Service to serve the local comunity and consists of local amateur and ex-professional jazz musicians, together with the most advanced jazz students taught through the Music Service. HJO gives concerts throughout the area and is a very versatile outfit able to put out any size of jazz group right down to a trio!

The Hillingdon Youth Big Band (HYBB) is an integral part of the Music Service and gives students the opportunity to play in a big band that meets every week and has a busy concert schedule throughout the area. The most advanced players move on to the HJO once they are deemed ready for the challenge.
